The island Smøla is situated in central Norway, 80km west of Trondheim (as the crow flies). It stretches over 281,8 square kilometres, and has a population of a little over 2000 inhabitants.
Veiholmen is situated in the northernmost spit of the island, and is connected to the island by approximately 6 kilometres of big and small bridges.
After about a- 40min-ride over the island from the ferry (Sandvika-Edoya), which connects Smøla with the mainland, you reach ‘the end of the world’
